Following the record-breaking 2023 event, the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) reportedly returns to the Las Vegas Strip for another thrilling enterprise. As reported, the most prestigious poker tournament has announced the schedule of the 2024 edition of the popular series to include ninety-nine live poker events. These events will reportedly compose the 55th edition of the World Series of Poker to be held at Paris and Horseshoe Las Vegas from May 28 to July 17, 2024.

WSOP Schedule Revealed:

According to a source, the $5,000 Champions Reunion No-Limit Hold’em Freezeout event will open the Series, while the $10,000 Main Event Championship starting on July 3 will induct the players and the audience into the final rounds of the 2024 WSOP.  In a press release, Ty Stewart, SVP & Executive Director of the WSOP said:  “We’re proud to be Las Vegas’s original Main Event. Records are made to be broken, so our motto this year is bigger and better. With our best schedule ever and more than 100 additional poker tables, we look forward to welcoming legends, first-timers and everyone in between. If you’re a poker player, there is simply no experience on earth like the World Series of Poker.”

Ninety-Nine Poker Events:

As reported, the 2024 WSOP unveiled this year’s schedule to additionally include several new events and some old favorites. According to the schedule, 50+ players will be eligible to join a $5,000 three-day high roller event starting from June 26. The event celebrating the Independence Day will reportedly kick off on July 3 to last for three days and include admissions of $800.

The Series will reportedly include $200, $250, or $400 daily tournaments running from May 28 to June 24. These players will reportedly be eligible to get into the $600 PokerNews Deep Stack Championship on June 25, the event sponsored by PokerStar’s website. The source further reports that the Main Event will feature a $1,000 buy-in Hold’em event on July 6. Also, players busted out earlier in the Main Event will have the opportunity to get involved into the high-stakes action on July 11 with a $3,000 buy-in, according to the source.

Twenty-Seven Championships:

The 2024 WSOP will also feature a series of championships, with the first of these, the $25,000 Heads-up Championship, set for May 30 to include the maximum of 64 players. As reported, this will be the first of a total of 27 championships to be held before the Main Event. The championship player costs range from $10,000 to $50,000, with the series scheduled to culminate with the $50,000 Poker Players Championship on June 23. This event will reportedly see the winner’s name inscribed on a trophy named after Poker Hall of fame inductee Chip Reese.

$250,000 Super High Roller Event:

According to the source, the 2024 WSOP expects to attract a lot of high rollers to events with buy-ins ranging from $25,000 High Roller Six Handed No-Limit Hold’em on June 6 to the Series most expensive event, the $250,000 Super High Roller Event taking place on June 21. Also, the $100,000 High Roller contest will reportedly be held on June 18. The previous edition of the WSOP drew a record 10,043 entries. Daniel Weinman became the 2023 WSOP champion and took $12.1 million, the largest Main Event first-prize payout in Series history. The 2024 World Series of Poker kicks off on May 28 to be looking for some new records.
